FLIGHT PATHS OVER HOLMWOOD
In the Autumn of 2014, residents in South Holmwood wrote letters to, emailing, and telephoning Gatwick Airport about the excessive number of flights over South Holmwood. The provisional approval for these flights was given in November 2013, and is due for review in November this year. Your local MP, Sir Paul Beresford is encouraging all residents to write now to Mark Swan of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) urging him not to allow these flights to continue. An example of a letter and the points you might like to include is shown below. The letter needs to be with the Aviation Authority by January 3, 2015.
Some work is also being undertaken by local politicians. In order to support this work it may be useful to send a copy of your letter to: Sir Paul Beresford MP, Member of Parliament for Mole Valley, House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA.
